About Us

The Spencer Group was established in Michigan in 1986.  Originally the Electronics Automation Application Center, we served information technology clients in Michigan, New York, Virginia, Connecticut, Louisiana, Texas, Florida and Sweden, changing our name to The Spencer Group along the way.  After thirteen years The Spencer Group changed its direction and became a portal for military and veterans affairs. 

We've changed once again -- and grown -- while continuing our commitment to our military and its veterans.  The Spencer Group's expanded focus now also includes our American history and heritage; genealogy research and portal service; and historical research and preservation.  As always, we continue to provide outstanding information technology consulting and services, including website design, development and hosting.

The Spencer Group's very diverse nature is only surpassed by the diversity of our staff.  Not only do we have professional military veterans (including those still serving our country) as consultants, we also have a staff with a broad range of knowledge and experience, including project management, historical research and preservation, genealogy, grant writing, document editing and all aspects of information technology.  Every consultant on our staff has one thing in common -- an unflinching love and respect for our country, its history and heritage, and our military and veterans.
