All night before the cease
fire, planes flew flare-drop over Tan Son Nhut AFB because of the threat of rocket/mortar
attacks by the Viet Cong. At first light, approximately two hours before the cease

Several
enlisted women from the Tan Son Nhut WAF Squadron, as well as several men, spent many a
Sunday (their only day off) at an orphanage near Bien Hoa where they played with the
